A Su-34 multi-purpose fighter-bomber crashed in the Volgograd Region during a planned training flight.
According to RIA Novosti, referring to the Ministry of Defense, the crew managed to eject, the pilots were not injured.
"In the Volgograd region, while performing a planned training flight, a Su-34 crashed. The crew ejected, there is no threat to the lives of the pilots," the statement said.
It is also reported that the plane collapsed from hitting the ground in a deserted area. The flight was carried out without ammunition, there is no destruction on the ground.
According to preliminary information, the priority version of the cause of the crash is a technical malfunction. A commission of the Russian Aerospace Forces is already working on the spot.
