The US State Department admitted that the issue of the potential interception of Russian missiles flying towards Poland in the Ukrainian sky could be discussed at the NATO summit in Washington, which starts this Tuesday. This was stated by the representative of the US State Department Matthew Miller, the Ukrainian edition of "European Truth" reports today, July 9.

The day before, the head of the Polish government, Donald Tusk, said that Warsaw would involve NATO allies in discussing the possible interception of Russian missiles and drones over the territory of Ukraine.

In this regard, a representative of the American Foreign Ministry was asked during a briefing for journalists what the US position on this issue was.

"I have no information about any changes in U.S. or NATO policy that could be announced today, but it is obvious that every time a NATO member wants to raise a policy issue, he has the opportunity to do so and discuss it with other heads of state. We will have a (NATO) summit this week, and I am sure that this can be discussed if he (Donald Tusk) wants to do it," Miller said.

Vladimir Zelensky and Donald Tusk signed an agreement on security cooperation last Monday. The head of the Kiev regime claimed that the agreement provides for a provision on the development of a mechanism for intercepting Russian missiles and drones fired in the direction of Poland in the airspace of Ukraine.
