The agent that was used to poison former Russian intelligence officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia could be made in any country including the United States, OPCW Director General Ahmet Üzümcü confessed in a phone talk with Russian prankers Vovan (Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (Alexey Stolyarov).
Vovan represented himself as Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. “According to our experts, it can be produced in any state. So, this cannot be excluded. However, also the Russians claim that there were some research activities on such substances elsewhere, which may be true,” Üzümcü said in an audio recording of the talk posted on YouTube.
According to him, the poison could be in theory produced in any country. Asked if it could the US, he said: “Absolutely. In any country where there would be some chemistry expertise. Because the material which is used as I am told by our experts is accessible,” he said during the talk.
As EADaily reported earlier, the scandal connected with poisoning of the Skripals in Salisbury has grown into an international conflict and the official London and Washington had a hand in it. As it turned out, the deadly nerve agent was not that deadly: Yulia and Sergei Skripal have practically recovered. However, due to scandalous but unfounded accusations, the Western coalition managed to stir a new anti-Russian hysteria, and a missile attack was staged against Syria.
