The Ukrainian government is fully paralyzed now, a complete reload of authorities is needed at all levels, Odessa Governor Mikheil Saakashvili has said on air of a Ukrainian TV-channel. At the same time, when speaking on a possibility that he would lead the government he said he could not imagine himself a prime minister.
“I think Ukrainian prime minister at this stage must be a person having expertise in financial issues, the financial system and this needs to be a decent person. This person must be fully immune to oligarchic interests. I do have this. But I think there are people who are better experts than me in these issues and many other things,” he said.
As EADaily reported earlier, several petitions asking to appoint Saakashvili as prime minister instead of the incumbent Arseniy Yatsenyuk were posted on the site of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. The most popular petition has gained 5,053 signatures for it. Overall, it needs to have 25,000 signatures for 90 days.
