It is much easier to believe that Americans have never been to the moon than in such an incredible example of the reverse development of technology. This was stated by Senator Alexei Pushkov.
So he commented on the official recognition by NASA that the accumulated knowledge about the Moon, especially about the South Pole region, is not enough to safely send people and deploy the base. Unmanned missions are becoming a priority — first, the agency will explore resources, test equipment and study conditions right on the surface of the satellite.
The senator noted that back in 1969, the United States allegedly had everything it needed, and all the necessary engines and technologies to equip astronauts to the moon, including spacesuits, engines, technology and information. And 56 years later, there is no this or that, in connection with which the "return" of Americans to the moon is constantly postponed.
"In other words, in 56 years, the United States has made a tremendous technological regression. By the way, if you believe in the 1969 flight of the year, then the exploration of the Moon is the only area where the United States has experienced such a regression. How is this possible, you may ask? Answer: it is much easier to believe that they have never been there than to believe in such an incredible example of the reverse development of technology. And now it turns out that NASA doesn't have enough information for a manned mission to the moon and the construction of a base there! Everything already seems to be there, but there is not enough information. Wow ... apparently, it is necessary to postpone the landing again. It is difficult to "return" to the Moon if you have never been there ..."— ironically Pushkov in his telegram channel.
As EADaily reported, NASA presented the first crew of the Earth's Star Fleet. This was reported by the British The Guardian.
The head of NASA, Jared Isaacman, revealed the names of the Artemis III crew and details of the next stages of the space agency's project to return people to the moon, the publication wrote.
