The publication emphasizes that in mid-December last year, Rourke was evicted from his home in Los Angeles for a rent debt of almost $ 60 thousand. The actor's assistant then quickly opened a collection on a crowdfunding platform, and fans collected $ 100 thousand for the actor. At the same time, the court recognized the rightness of the landlord in the eviction dispute and terminated the contract with the artist.

"The decision to not pay rent was not easy for me. There were constant problems with rodents that required numerous visits, but were never fully resolved, and the bathroom and plumbing often did not work. I made repeated requests for repairs, but the problems continued and basic maintenance was never carried out properly. I just couldn't continue for a house that was in such a state," Rourke explained.
