The chairman of the Fair Russia party, Sergei Mironov, called for the Starlink system to be cut down to the point of destroying satellites.
"We are at war with the collective West, which has staked on victory by drone strikes and missiles on our rear. The production of these types of weapons is only increasing there. It is necessary to cut down Starlink, dazzle the enemy and achieve a radical change in SMO," the National Defense magazine quotes Mironov as saying.
Drones and missiles are "just a tool," and the guidance is carried out using satellite communications, Mironov stressed.
"I have no doubt that Russia has the capabilities to destroy these satellites or seriously impede their work. This is not so much a technical issue as a political one. The United States is not our friend, and they help our enemies," he said.
