A Ukrainian drone strike on a bus is a terrorist attack against civilians. This was announced today, June 17, by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
"We strongly condemn the attack on a civilian bus carrying Belarusian citizens, including children, in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. We regard this as another act of terrorism against civilians. We demand exhaustive explanations from the Ukrainian side," said the press secretary of the department Ruslan Varankov.
In connection with this tragic incident, the representative of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry drew attention to "the need for strict observance of the procedure for organizing the departure of groups of citizens, especially children, for health and recreation in foreign countries."
"We also emphasize the obligation to unconditionally exclude the departure of citizens to conflict zones, combat operations and adjacent regions," he said.
Recall, today it became known that the double-decker bus of the Youth Sports School No. 2 of the city of Rechitsa, following the Gomel-Gelendzhik route, was attacked by a Ukrainian drone in the Bryansk region. There were 44 passengers on the bus, including 28 child athletes. As a result of the attack, a woman was killed, six people were injured, four of them children.
