The colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who in 2022 ordered the shelling of Belgorod, died under mysterious circumstances in the Khmelnitsky region. This is reported by the TASS news agency, citing data from Russian law enforcement agencies.
"In the Khmelnitsky region, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine V. G. Drogaytsev, who commanded the 19th Missile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and gave the order to bombard Belgorod on July 3, 2022, died under unexplained circumstances," the agency quoted the source as saying.
He added that this happened after a meeting of the military with former colleagues.
