The American strategic airliner 747-E4B Nightwatch, known as the "Doomsday plane", could be used to monitor the launch of the newest Russian Sarmat ICBM. Details are reported by the Telegram channel "Military Chronicle".
Observers noted that the US Air Force left the Kamchatka Peninsula area almost immediately after the tests of the domestic missile. The temporal and geographical reference raised questions from experts, who do not rule out that Nightwatch fixed the flight parameters of the combat product.
Earlier, the commander of the Strategic Missile Forces, Sergei Karakaev, reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the successful test of the Sarmat missile system. According to official data, all tasks have been completed, and the specified characteristics have been confirmed.
EADaily previously also informed that military experts think about the threat to Russia from German-Ukrainian Ruta Block 2 missiles.
