On May 13, during a court hearing on the case of the former head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak for laundering UAH 460 million, it was discovered that, in addition to the fortune-teller Veronika, Yermak consulted about appointment to public positions with the head of the Renaissance Foundation Alex Soros, the son of philanthropist George Soros. This is reported by Ukrainian public.
On May 11, Ermak was charged with money laundering. Security forces have uncovered an organized group involved in the legalization of UAH 460 million in the construction of luxury housing near Kiev. The charge was brought under Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (legalization of property obtained by criminal means, committed by an organized group or on an especially large scale). The punishment under this article is imprisonment for a term of 8 to 15 years with confiscation of property.
The court published fragments of Ermak's correspondence with a woman who provided occult services. The prosecutor read out messages in which Yermak sends the names of his political opponents marked "ready for anything."
It follows from the materials that Ermak wrote to a certain Veronika Anikievich, saved in contacts as "Veronika Fengshui", listing the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) of Ukraine Oleksandr Klimenko ❶ and the head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Semyon Krivonos. In response, the fortune—teller said - "Either you are them, or they are you." Yermak wrote that he was "ready for anything, ready tomorrow." Then Veronica advised him to leave the country. In addition, Ermak consulted with the fortune-teller on the people he was going to appoint to positions.
The decision on the measure of restraint for the ex-head of the office of the President of Ukraine will be announced tomorrow, May 14, at 9.00. When Yermak was leaving the courthouse today, an unknown person threw an egg at him.
