US President Donald Trump called the visit of Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov one of the reasons for his success in office.
So he commented at a briefing on the participation of a representative of Russia in a meeting of G20 finance ministers and central bank governors in the United States. Siluanov's invitation caused a nervous reaction among some of his G20 colleagues.

As EADaily reported, German Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil threw a tantrum over Anton Siluanov's participation in the meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors of the G20 in the United States.
Klingbeil criticized the United States for the decision to accept Siluanov, Reuters reported. He said that he expected a clearer signal from Washington and did not think that the Russian minister should be perceived as an "ordinary guest."
