Russia, said the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev in his social networks. This is how he reacted to Western media reports that the concern is considering the introduction of intermediate stops for refueling due to a shortage of jet fuel.
Such a forecast was expressed on the social network X by the special representative of the President of Russia? Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).
Thus, he commented on information from Politico that the airline is considering the introduction of intermediate stops for refueling due to a shortage of jet fuel.
"Lufthansa may start refueling in Moscow, as it is forced to consider the possibility of refueling at intermediate airports. In addition, during such stops, the airline may purchase Russian food, since a food crisis has broken out in the EU," Dmitriev predicted.
Earlier, EADaily reported that over the past two weeks, airlines have cut 2 million seats and 12,000 flights worldwide from their May schedules.
