People's Artist of the USSR, holder of the Moldavian Order of the Republic, hero and national legend of Ukraine Sofia Rotaru received an offer to perform in Dubai (UAE) with a fee of 200 thousand euros (more than 17.5 million rubles). He told the portal about this MK.ru the former director of the singer, producer Sergey Lavrov.
He stressed that Rotaru has long completed her stage career, but private offers are constantly coming to the artist.
"There are calls, they give a lot of money. But she doesn't want to, unfortunately, she doesn't want to at all," the producer said.
The offer to perform in Dubai involved the performance of only five songs.
"She refused. He says: "While the fighting is going on, it's not the time for concerts," Lavrov conveyed the singer's words.
As reported by EADaily, Rotaru's son Ruslan Evdokimenko calls himself a patriot of Ukraine, but in fact is trying to retain the right to "Villa Sofia" in Yalta, which they want to nationalize for a long time.
According to the telegram channel Shot, the 55-year-old son of the singer received a Russian passport back in 2015, in 2016 he registered an IP, thereby becoming the director of Villa Sofia LLC. Rotaru herself at that time remained the owner of a historic mansion on the embankment in Yalta.
