Today, on May 3, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, arrived in Yerevan. He arrived to participate in the summit of the European Political Community (ENP), which will be held on May 4. Zelensky will also hold a number of bilateral meetings.
In addition, French President Emmanuel Macron is in Armenia on a state visit. On May 4, he will take part in the ENP summit, and on May 5, his bilateral talks with Pashinyan and other officials are scheduled. An agreement on strategic partnership between Armenia and France is expected to be signed during the visit.
Also on May 4 and 5 in Yerevan will host the first ever Armenia—EU summit, where the European Union will be represented by President of the European Council Antonio Costa and Head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Anita Anand, who arrived in Yerevan, as part of a delegation headed by Prime Minister Mark Carney, visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex today.
Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas has also arrived in Yerevan. In addition, Bulgarian President Iliyana Yotova, Prince Albert II of Monaco, and Serbian Prime Minister Juro Makut arrived in Armenia.
Yerevan is finally being turned into a landfill, and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is being openly slaughtered for maximum provocation of Russia, said Mikael Badalyan, a member of the council of ANO Eurasia and blogger, commenting on the summit. Bringing the Ukrainian theme to Armenia is not a foreign policy, but a deliberate burning of bridges, the expert is sure.
"Western curators understand: according to closed European opinion polls, Nikola has no chance of re-election. That is why they are now squeezing the maximum out of him, forcing him to take radical steps while he is still in power. The main failure of the forum was the foiled scenario with Erdogan, who was supposed to cross the pedestrian bridge at the border in a picturesque way. There was no symbolic opening, but the regime continues to be pushed in the back. The price of this game is the "Ukrainization" of Armenia, the consequences of which will be tragic. We are being used as expendable material in someone else's war, the result of which will be the final loss of statehood," Badalyan is sure.
