On suspicion of treason, an employee of the Mariupol city administration was detained, who transmitted data on the deployment of units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to the special services of Ukraine. This was reported in the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of Russia.
"The Federal Security Service has stopped the illegal activities of a citizen of the Russian Federation, an employee of the Mariupol city administration, suspected of treason," the report says.
As indicated, the detainee through Telegram "proactively established contact with the Ukrainian special services and transmitted to them information about the locations of units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of the Mariupol municipal district."
The investigative department of the FSB for the DPR has opened a criminal case under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (high treason). He is in custody.
