Once popular in Russia, stand-up comedian Dmitry Romanov❶, who was previously deprived of Russian citizenship, boasted of a residence permit Portugal. He wrote about this in his telegram channel.
According to the comedian, he never wanted to live in Portugal, but when he arrived on the island of Madeira with his future wife, he realized that someday he could stay here.
"Our daughter, our islander, was born here. She was given citizenship. We didn't even count on it. And then, as relatives of an EU citizen, we received a residence permit," Romanov explained ❶.
He added that the process of obtaining this document took two weeks.
"We were expecting a child, but we got legalization," he concluded.
As reported by EADaily, earlier Romanov❶ said that the biggest difficulty for relocators is emigration from their mentality. The comedian noted that you can move to Europe, rent an apartment, but at the same time continue to live by the old rules, trying to keep a low profile.
