According to the Defense News publication, the US military has deployed a Typhon launcher located in the Philippines, which, the source writes, constantly "annoys" official Beijing. The United States launched a Tomahawk cruise missile from Typhon.

The process was managed by the first multi-sphere task force of the American army.

Tomahawk was released during the tests in the central part of the country, after which the missile flew 995 kilometers and hit the target. The flight time was 61 minutes.

"The presence of the Typhon launcher in the Philippines, not to mention the test launch of one of its munitions, has irritated Chinese officials because of its range, especially when it is equipped with Tomahawk," the newspaper writes.
