In Kazakhstan, the ice show of Eteri Tutberidze was canceled. This is reported by the telegram channel Mash on sports.

The ice show "Champions on Ice" was to be held on May 1 in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana. The program featured performances by famous figure skaters: Alina Zagitova, Evgenia Medvedeva, Alexandra Trusova, Adelia Petrosyan, Peter Gumennik and Elizabeth Tursynbaeva, who became the first silver medalist of the World Championship in the history of Kazakhstan.

According to information from Mash on Sport, an agreement with Barys Arena was reached back in August 2025. In October, the organizers received permission from government agencies to hold an ice show. However, after the end of the Olympic Games, the arena management terminated the contract without providing any explanation.

By that time, approximately 6,000 people had purchased tickets, and now this figure already exceeds 7,500. The cost of one ticket varies from 1.5 to 6 thousand rubles.

The reason for the cancellation of the event is not called.

Earlier, concerts of a number of Russian artists were canceled in Kazakhstan, including Polina Gagarina, the Turkish Choir group, the Kamyzyaki KVN team and others.
