The sister of the Russian performer Valery Meladze Liana got a business in London and by September 2025 received British citizenship. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the "British corporate reporting".
According to the documents, in November 2024, the company Musician Limited was established in Britain, which is engaged in sound recording and video production. Meladze's sister owns 75% in this company.
It is emphasized that in the constituent documents she is listed as a citizen of Georgia.
"Already in September 2025, when appointed director of Musician Limited, Liana Meladze officially appears in the documents as a British citizen," the publication says.
As EADaily reported, by the end of 2024, the music label in Russia, owned by Liana Meladze, earned almost 220 million rubles. The Velvet Music music label, co-owned by Liana Meladze, was created in 2004 together with producer Alyona Mikhailova.
The company has collaborated with such artists as the Uma2rman group, Vintage, Valery Meladze, Polina Gagarina, Vera Brezhneva, Anita Tsoi, Marie Kraymbreri and many others.
In 2023, the label's net profit amounted to 90 million rubles.
