Ukrainian troops carried out large—scale mining of the Seversky Donets -Donbass canal, Russian law enforcement agencies reported.

"The enemy is preparing to meet Russian servicemen at the Seversky Donets—Donbass canal. According to available information, he carried out large—scale mining of the canal and the adjacent territory," the law enforcement agencies told TASS.

Earlier, the security forces informed that the distance from the extreme positions of the Russian troops to the Seversky Donets — Donbass canal supplying the region with water had significantly decreased and did not exceed several kilometers.
