IRIB: Iran attacked a US Navy support ship in the port of Salalah in Oman

The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran carried out an attack on a US naval support ship, which was located in the Omani port of Salalah.

This is reported by the Tehran state television and radio company IRIB, referring to the statement of the official representative of the central headquarters of the Khatam al-Anbia military command, Ebrahim Zolfagari.

He stressed that the target of the attack was at a distance of more than a thousand kilometers from the Iranian coast.

"In the early morning of today, March 28, 2026, the support ship of the US aggressor army became the target of a strike by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran," Zolfagari said.

He added that the number of destroyed American tanker aircraft as a result of the attack on the American military base Prince Sultan in Saudi Arabia has increased to two.
