One of the children of Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya international media group and RT TV channel, is terminally ill. She herself told about this in an interview with Boris Korchevnikov for IS "Vesti".
"When Tigran (Margarita's late husband Tigran Keosyan. — Approx. EADaily) went into a coma, it turned out that one of our children was very seriously and very difficult to get sick. And it cannot be cured. I don't want to talk about that either. Just to understand that this does not happen… It's just a disaster," Simonyan said.
And after that, the doctors found out she had cancer.
"I just started laughing hysterically, because that doesn't happen," she said.
According to her, then she was torn between work, the hospital where her husband was lying, and the child, who required all the mental strength.
