Three concerts left from Russian singers Monetochki❶ (Elizaveta Girdymova❶) were canceled due to the non-issuance of a visa to the performer. She announced this on her social network page.
Concerts were scheduled in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne from March 15 to 18.
"I was not given entry documents. All the other musicians and technicians of my group received visas on time, but I didn't get anything," the artist said.
According to her, she waited until the last moment, because there were cases when the visa was issued almost the day before the concert. But that didn't happen to her. At the same time, the Australian authorities did not provide any explanations.
Monetochka ❶ expressed the hope that in the future she would still be able to perform in Australia, but now she apologized to the audience who bought tickets.
The Mash telegram channel claims that the Australian authorities consider the singer to be a "Russian political brawler" who can cause problems during her concerts.
As EADaily reported, in November last year, Monetochka ❶ was urgently hospitalized from a concert in Riga with a severe allergy attack. The singer herself later said that for the first time in her life, Quincke's edema occurred. She just started suffocating on stage, and the medicines she had with her did not remove the attack.
