The Trump administration is sending a signal to the world that it is a bunch of fools. This was stated by Professor John Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago.
So he commented on an article in the Financial Times newspaper that Washington had neither a plan, nor a clear goal, nor the necessary resources for a war with Iran.
According to the professor, the United States has started a war in which it cannot win.
"We are not defeating Iran. We are not winning. What message are we sending? We're sending the message that we're a bunch of fools. We have started a war that we cannot win. FT published a big editorial today. This is the Financial Times, which is very sympathetic to the United States and the various stupid schemes that we come up with. The Financial Times usually supports us. They say we didn't have a goal. There was no clear goal. We did not have the necessary armed forces to achieve any of the goals set, and we did not have any plan. That's what they say. And, of course, they are right," said Mearsheimer, quoted by Pool No. 3.
