Orban uses the image of Zelensky in election campaigning

The Hungarian Prime Minister is actively using his conflict with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, in his visual election campaigning. Moreover, the campaign coincided with the beginning of a public survey on Ukraine's admission to the European Union.

As a result, the cities of Hungary were covered with posters with the face of the President of Ukraine. One of them says: Üzenjük Brüsszelnek: nem fizetünk!" ("Let's tell Brussels: we don't pay!")

On the other: Ne hagyjuk, hogy Zelenszkij nevessen a végén!" ("Let's not let Zelensky have the last laugh!").

On the third (where Zelensky is together with opposition leader Peter Magyar and head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen) - "they are a risk."

The caption reads: "A survey on Ukraine's membership in the EU. We will not allow the decision to be made without us!".

The campaign video, which the Hungarian government launched before the poll, talks about Brussels' plans to accept Ukraine into the European Union in an accelerated mode, for which Europeans, including Hungarians, will eventually have to pay.

The survey will last until June 20, after which its results will be sent to Brussels. Unlike referendums, such consultations in Hungary do not imply a turnout threshold.

Recall that the scandal broke out after the statement of the former general of the Security Service of Ukraine Grigory Omelchenko, who, following Zelensky, made threats against the Hungarian leader, as well as his children and grandchildren. The former military man said that he did not need Orban's address, since the Kiev security forces allegedly know everything about him.

Earlier, EADaily reported that unidentified persons placed a severed pig's head at the entrance to the building of the Ukrainian Embassy in Budapest. This act may be related to the aggravation of Hungarian-Ukrainian relations.
