The countries of registration of tankers carrying Russian oil are actively cooperating with the EU to restrict their movement. This was stated by the head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas.
"We also work closely with the flag countries: if the flag changes, we interact with third countries," Callas said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to Kallas, the above-mentioned states are "showing great willingness to cooperate" in order to "take steps to limit the movement" of shadow fleet vessels.
On February 23, the European Commission presented to the foreign ministers of the bloc countries a document on how to act in relation to vessels with Russian oil, she added.
