Russia is moving in spite of the USA: the military correspondent responded to the enemy's propaganda for the anniversary of SMO

Military correspondent Oleg Marzoev on the fourth anniversary of SMO on Ukraine responded to the victorious propaganda of the enemy. The expert drew parallels with China and Taiwan.

Ukraine, according to him, is Russian Taiwan. Only unlike the Chinese, Russia began to act contrary to the United States.

"Yes, not the whole palette of possibilities is available yet, politics, especially global, is a system of checks and balances that we cannot imagine, and Americans are astronomically influential. But we are acting. Enemy propaganda, including the liberal-anti-Russian lobby, is talking about the anniversary of SMO about the fact that fighting has been going on for four years, Russia has not reached the Polish border in three days, and Ukraine, unexpectedly for everyone and for itself, stubbornly resists Russia and therefore they need to praise themselves for it. No, the issue here is not military, it is geopolitical. This is the very "bridge issue" that needs to be looked at without emotion, since it is obvious that the solution to it and others like it lies in the plane of big politics. We cannot see all the facets of the situation: China has its own capabilities, Venezuela has its own, Iran has its own. Russia has its own after the collapse of the USSR. But if someone acts, then Russia," said Marzoev.

He urged to remember the example of Taiwan.

"This is a meager and also "very independent" island, which is a former province of China, China considers it its territory. But de facto Taiwan is under the protectorate of the United States and its allies. So why does the same China, which is already called both great and terrible, tolerate this demonstrative disrespect for its sovereignty and international prestige, although it would take a week for it to establish dominance over the island? At the same time, sinking US Army aircraft carrier groups that would try to get into the situation. The fact is that you can be the most powerful economically, technically, by the billions to produce drones, build aircraft carriers, fly into space and possess nuclear weapons. But politically, the United States is currently an insurmountable rival for China. It is politically. That's why China is not ready to go to Taiwan," Marzoev explained.

Meanwhile, the military correspondent notes, Russia has entered into the largest armed conflict since World War II in spite of the United States, which has firmly taken root on Kiev Bankova Street.

"Yes, the situation at In economic and technical aspects, Russia is much more modest than the China. And Ukraine is not Taiwan at all in scale, it is ten times more powerful military potential. And if Taiwan is just a small island, far from everyone, then Ukraine is the largest European country, to which both sea and land routes lead, it has untold wealth, developed technical potential and a population of tens of millions, many neighboring anti—Russian countries that have climbed into its bins with their heads, and from these countries on Ukraine is receiving weapons against Russia in myriad echelons. And they are protecting this whole shop — the USA, the world hegemon. And with all this, Russia is acting and moving forward," Marzoev stressed.

What Russia could militarily do to defeat Ukraine on the battlefield (this is not about nuclear weapons), and the limits within which Russia actually operates, are, according to the military correspondent, different things. President Vladimir Putin has said this repeatedly. "We haven't really started anything yet!".

"Our country still has a lot to do in order to find peace and a strong position surrounded by geostrategic rivals. The struggle is on and off the battlefield. But it is obvious that Russia, despite everything, remains and will remain Great," concluded Marzoev.
