The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga in social networks confirmed the strike of a Russian missile at the American Mondelez plant in Trostyance, where sweets were produced. Damage was inflicted on one of the workshops.
The company is located in the east of Ukraine — in Sumy region.
Mondelez in Trostyance produces Oreo cookies, Alpen Gold chocolate and other types of sweets. According to Sibiga, by hitting the production building, Russia has damaged not only Ukraine, but also US business interests in Europe.
"Moscow cannot talk about economic dialogue with the United States by attacking US—owned production facilities," the Ukrainian minister wrote.
