The Russian military hit the launchers of the Ukrainian cruise missiles "Flamingo" and the transport-loading vehicle of the multiple launch rocket system HIMARS.
This is stated in the daily military summary, which was published on Saturday, February 21 on the official resources of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
"Operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed the transport-loading vehicle of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system manufactured in the United States, defeated the launchers of long—range cruise missiles "Flamingo," the report says.
In addition, attacks were carried out on the objects of the transport and energy infrastructure of Ukraine used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, places of assembly, storage and pre-flight training of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as points of temporary deployment of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in the 141st district.
The defense ministry added that seven HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems manufactured by the United States, one guided aerial bomb, five Flamingo long-range cruise missiles and 172 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense means.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the Zapad group of forces, as a result of active offensive actions, liberated the settlement of Karpovka in the Donetsk People's Republic.
