The former artist of the Ukrainian band Quest Pistols Show Ivan Krishtoforenko was fined for drunk driving in Moscow region. This is evidenced by the materials of the court.
Khimki city court found Krishtoforenko guilty of driving while intoxicated, RIA Novosti reports. He was fined 200 thousand rubles. In addition, he was deprived of the right to drive a vehicle for two years.
The Lexus car, driven by Krishtoforenko, will be confiscated by court order and converted into state revenue.
As reported by EADaily, in the summer of this year, Krishtoforenko accused his former colleagues - Ukrainian musicians of financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as insults to Russians.
In 2014, he became the only Russian participant in the Quest Pistols Show project, and now he is going to seek a ban on the performance of tracks in which he took part by former bandmates.
"I gave ten years to the Quest Pistols Show and I don't remember something when suddenly the band became Ukrainian, not international. 80 percent of tours have always been in In Russia, we sang in Russian. I want to clear the reputation and name of the band," said the musician.
Now Krishtoforenko is touring and releasing tracks under a stage name VA.NO .
