Kamchybek Tashiev, who was dismissed from the post of head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan, returned to the country. This is reported by Sputnik Kyrgyzstan.
Recall, on February 10, by decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, Tashiyev was dismissed. He himself was being treated in Germany at that moment. And, according to his confession, the incident came as a complete surprise to him.
A day later, three of Tashiev's four deputies were relieved of their posts. This was followed by the detention of a number of public figures and former officials. According to some reports, special forces units began to gather in Bishkek.
Tashiyev himself, in his address to the people, called on the society to calm down, stating that destabilization of the country was unacceptable.
