The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, denies that he dismissed the head of his office, Andrei Yermak, because of the corruption case of Timur Mindich.
"I did not dismiss Andrei Yermak because of the corruption investigation. I had my reasons for this," he told The Atlantic magazine.
The publication notes that Zelensky snapped at a journalist who asked him about the corrupt reasons for Yermak's dismissal. "I had my reasons," Zelensky "growled," as the newspaper notes, interrupting the question about Yermak.
The Atlantic article on the results of the interview says that Zelensky "still refused to admit that the corruption investigation forced him to make a decision" on Yermak's dismissal.
Yermak was dismissed in the fall of 2025 immediately after the searches in the case of businessman and associate Zelensky Mindich, which were conducted by NABU.
