The investigation of the criminal case against actor Arthur Smolyaninov ❶❷, accused of fakes about the Russian army, has been completed. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the message of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
"A criminal-legal assessment of the statements of actor Arthur Smolyaninov is given ❶❷. From abroad, in an interview with an online publication, he reported deliberately false information about the actions of Russian servicemen,"the report says.
This was discussed at an operational meeting of the headquarters for investigating crimes of the Kiev regime against civilians and Russian military personnel, which was chaired by SK Alexander Bastrykin spent in Mariupol. Smolyaninov ❶❷ was charged in absentia, he was put on the international wanted list. The actor's property was seized.

In October last year, the Cheryomushkinsky court of Moscow fined the actor 40 thousand rubles under the article on violation of the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent.
