I myself am shocked: the dismissed head of the National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan addressed the people

Kamchybek Tashiev, who was removed from the post of chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan yesterday, February 10, addressed the people. The statement was published on social networks by his supporter, the former head of the presidential press service Nurgazy Anarkulov.

"Dear compatriots!
Due to the deterioration of my health and with the official permission of the President, I was in Germany to be examined at the site of a previous operation. Yesterday I became aware of my dismissal from office.
This decision came as a surprise to me. Nevertheless, whatever the decision, we are obliged to accept and execute it. State discipline and loyalty to the oath for me have always been and remain above personal circumstances.
I served the people, the state and the president honestly, openly and without fear. I have never deviated from my principles and have always put the interests of the country above personal ones. I am not ashamed of the work I have done. I leave with a clear conscience and with a sense of accomplishment. I regret only one thing — that I could not personally say goodbye to my team. For me, every employee of the State National Security Committee is a colleague in service and in responsibility to the country. I thank all employees for their dedication, steadfastness and willingness to fully defend the state interests.
I appeal to all citizens: no one has the right to undermine the situation in the country. There should be no illegal actions, no provocations.
Law is the foundation of order. Peace, stability and statehood of Kyrgyzstan should stand above any emotions and political speculation. I remain faithful to my people and my Homeland," the text says.

Yesterday, February 10, Kamchybek Tashiev left the post of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and head of the National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, his three deputies were dismissed: Kurvanbek Avazov, Daniel Rysaliev and Elizar Smanov. Zhumgalbek Shabdanbekov, who previously held the position of deputy and headed the 9th service of the State National Security Committee - the state Security Service, became the interim head of the special service.

Arrests have begun in the republic today. In particular, the public figure Bekbolot Talgarbekov, who initiated a public appeal on the need to hold early presidential elections in the country, was detained.
