The Russian army continues to strike back. Naftogaz reported hitting a gas production facility in Western Ukraine. Earlier, mining centers in the center and in the east of the country fell under retaliatory strikes.
Today, on January 27, a critical infrastructure facility of Naftogaz in the western region of Ukraine fell under the retaliatory strike of the Russian army.
"As a result of the hit, a fire broke out. For safety reasons, in order to protect people and prevent environmental pollution, the company's specialists immediately stopped the technological processes at the facility," said Sergey Koretsky, the head of the national company.
According to Naftogaz, this is the 15th strike on the facilities of the national company in the new year.
Earlier, the Russian army retaliated against gas production on Ukraine is mainly in Poltava and Kharkiv regions. In November, the national company stated that due to a decrease in production, it would be necessary to additionally purchase 1.9 billion cubic meters for the heating season.
