Russian mathematician Ivan Remizov, according to the HSE press service, was able to solve one of the problems of science, which in mathematics was considered to be "eternal". Solutions could not be found by the best minds of the world for 190 years.

Remizov was able to derive a universal formula suitable for solving problems in differential equations. Obtained by a mathematician from The Russian result, the source writes, simply radically changes the picture in one of the oldest fields of the science of complex computing.

The decision can have a big impact on fundamental physics and economics.
