In Krasnoyarsk, local law enforcement officers detained an 18-year-old resident of Surgut, who accompanied the 14-year-old son of a businessman who was considered kidnapped.
As reported to the TASS agency in the GSU RF IC for In the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia, the person involved is suspected under part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud committed by a group of persons by prior agreement on an especially large scale"). Now the issue of choosing a preventive measure for her is being resolved.
During the interrogations, the girl explained that she was called and threatened by people posing as law enforcement officers. They said that her account had been hacked and she might be in danger, she needed to come to Krasnoyarsk.
There she was "taken out" to the son of a local businessman. On January 22, the defendant, following a tip from scammers, came to the house where the teenager lived. Together they broke into his father's safe, from where they stole 3 million rubles. Then, in the evening of the same day, she handed over the stolen to the scammers, but kept part of the money for herself.
After that, the girl took the teenager to the rented apartment to wait for further instructions. In her testimony, she said that the scammers contacted her by phone and via messenger.
Earlier, EADaily reported that a 10-year-old girl died in the Krasnoyarsk Territory after suffocating in a snow mass right at the fence of the house.
