The Ministry of Internal Affairs will display the Ukrainian flag on its building. This was reported in the Czech department.
The flag will appear on the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic on February 24. Earlier, a similar step was announced by Education Minister Robert Plaga and the Administration of the Czech government. At the same time, ministries headed by ministers from the SPD, that is, defense, transport and agriculture, will not display the Ukrainian flag.
Recall that in December 2025, the new Minister of Internal Affairs, Lubomir Metnar, removed the Ukrainian flag from the building. Then he said that in the future only the flags of the Czech Republic and the EU will be hung on the building, as well as, possibly, the flag of the state from where an important state guest will arrive in the Czech Republic.
