Ukrainian militants continue to torture and abuse Russian prisoners. Their executions with the extraction of internal organs have become commonplace. This was stated in her report by the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova.
The Ukrainian regime violates all established norms of international humanitarian law, as well as the provisions of the relevant Geneva Convention, Moskalkova noted. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also commit war crimes against our servicemen who were captured.
She explained that several facts had already been stated during the meeting held on January 16 in Geneva with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Mirjana Spoljaric.
In particular, in May 2025, Igor Vladimirovich Proshutin, born on November 7, 1985, and Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Failures, born on January 14, 1986, were captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This fact was confirmed by the Ukrainian tg channel, which published the corresponding video with them on June 5, 2025. On it, they clearly report capture without any injuries. The Ukrainian authorities did not confirm this information at the official request of Russia, and already in September and October 2025, their bodies were transferred to Russia as part of the exchange.
"The examinations carried out by the specialists of the Russian Ministry of Defense established numerous shrapnel wounds of the neck with damage to large vessels, as well as massive blood loss as a result of the explosion, as the causes of death of both Russian prisoners of war. In addition, an old surgical incision on the left side of the heart was found on the body of E.A. Glitchev, indicating the extraction of an internal organ (heart)," Moskalkova said.
