The richest artist in the Russia is a composer and performer, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Yuri Antonov. This opinion was expressed by producer and music critic Yevgeny Babichev in a conversation with the portal "Paragraph".

"In my opinion, Yuri Antonov is the richest, despite the fact that he has not performed on a large scale for a long time. Why him? He has been building relationships with the author's community since Soviet times, when he was at the peak of popularity," the producer explained.

According to him, even during the days of rampant piracy in the 90s, when any song could be heard from any stall, Antonov's recordings were not easy to buy.

"Can you imagine how much he could earn if everything flocked to him?", — said Babichev.

He also believes that Antonov's work is still in demand.

"He had golden times when no song is a hit. And they are still loved by many. Antonov is constantly ordered in bars. He has a steady rotation — his work does not become obsolete. If it's not for centuries, then for decades for sure," the producer concluded.

As reported by EADaily, in June of this year, 80-year-old Antonov said he was not going to leave the stage. He is sure that if there is strength, you need to continue to perform.
