According to her, the European Commission strongly supports the preservation of the territorial integrity of Denmark and Greenland. However, she sees no reason to draw analogies between the actions of the United States in relation to Greenland and the situation in Venezuela.
"Greenland is an ally of the United States, we fully support it, and we do not see any opportunities for comparison [with the US actions in Venezuela]. The European Commission fully supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Denmark and Greenland, the question of the status of Greenland can only be decided by its residents," Pinho said.
