The new Minister of Defense of Ukraine will be Mikhail Fedorov, who holds the post of Minister of Digital Transformation. This was announced by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
"Mikhail Fedorov will become the new Minister of Defense of Ukraine," Zelensky said.
The current head of the Ministry of Defense Denis Shmygal, the former prime Minister of Ukraine, "will remain in the team," he added.
Recall, Shmygal has not worked in this post for six months.
Zelensky promised other personnel decisions tomorrow.
"Today we have started a large—scale reform - internal changes to make Ukraine more sustainable. Last year, state institutions received good results that need to be scaled up, as well as problems that should not persist in the new year. Therefore, a wave of personnel changes has begun, and new decisions will be made regarding institutions," Zelensky said in his telegram channel.
According to the deputy of the Rada Yaroslav Zheleznyak, political circles "confidently and actively talk" about the imminent dismissal of the head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk❶. According to the parliamentarian, Malyuk ❶ "will be offered some vacant position," which will be a demotion for him.
