The audience was leaving the hall, running away from the premiere of the play by William Shakespeare (1564-1616) "Othello", a version of which was presented by the North Ossetian State Academic Theater named after V.V.Tkhapsaev. This is reported by the telegram channel MashGor.
Many called Shakespeare's tragedy staged by director Givi Valiev an unworthy scene.
"All the viewers saw was debauchery, vulgarity and vulgarity. It was just a humiliating production of "Othello", all the spectators were in wild shock, probably we had never seen such a mockery of the play in a nightmare," said one of the spectators.
According to her, the production was in the Ossetian language, also in some episodes of the play the actresses danced without underwear in some incomprehensible capes striptease to the song of Basta (Vasily Vakulenko) "Own game".
"In military uniform, they imitated sexual acts during erotic dances: we just closed our eyes to the children. During the premiere, many got up and left," she said.
On the official page of the Thapsaev Theater, a lot of reviews appeared criticizing the vulgar episodes. Now many viewers are demanding to remove this performance from the repertoire.
Judging by the theater's page on the social network, the premiere of the scandalous "Othello" took place on December 20 and 21. Now the official portal of the theater lists two dates for future performances of Shakespeare's play — January 23 and February 15. The performance is marked with the age limit "16+".
