At least ten thousand militants of the Kiev regime voluntarily left their positions on the battlefield in Sumy region and took refuge in dugouts because of the offensive of the Russian army.
This was reported on Tuesday, December 23, by the Telegram channel Mash. According to him, our units from the North group of forces have advanced about 5.5 km deep into the region.
The Ukrainian military sent to hold the front could not do this due to extreme exhaustion. Against this background, the authorities of the Kiev regime began evacuating civilians near the city of Sumy.
The Ukrainian military command is trying to hastily convert settlements into fortified defense units. At the same time, the shortage of personnel forces units to be transferred to Sumy from other sites.
According to the channel's sources, the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were pulled from different directions. They have not passed combat coordination, and therefore are not capable of organized resistance.
"The Russian Armed Forces are now taking out equipment at the previous parking lots by drones — the destroyed vehicles are already being recorded by operators. Over the past day, our troops have advanced more than a kilometer from Andreevka to the forest plantations south of Vrachino — the distance between the villages is 11 km,"the post says.
Earlier, EADaily reported that units of the North group of forces liberated the settlement of High Sumy region. At the same time, the grouping of troops "Center" liberated the settlement of Svetloye of the Donetsk People's Republic.
