Russia has never discussed the settlement of the conflict at the Ukraine according to the Korean scenario. This was stated by Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov to VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.
"Not once," Ushakov replied to the question of whether the "Korean option" of resolving the situation on the Ukraine.
"We discussed various options regarding a long-term settlement [in Ukraine]. And the Americans know about our approaches. But for sure — to remove tracing paper from the Korean theme — it has never been discussed. I haven't even heard about it," the presidential aide explained.
As EADaily reported, Ushakov Moscow "did not see" the proposals of "Ukrainians and Europeans" for a peaceful settlement, but their contribution "is unlikely to be constructive." The Kremlin spokesman recalled that Moscow "very clearly stated its position on the peace plan, which was clear to the Americans."
