During a visit to one of the control points of the joint group of forces, Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed about the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) in the DPR and Volchansk in the Kharkiv region. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that Putin visited the control center the night before. He heard reports from the head of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, the commander of the Center group Valery Solodchuk and the commander of the Vostok group Andrei Ivanaev. It is noted that Gerasimov reported on the liberation of the cities of Krasnoarmeysk in the DPR and Volchansk in the Kharkiv region, as well as on the results of the offensive actions of troops in other directions. And the commander of the troops of the Vostok group, Andrei Ivanaev, spoke about the progress of the tasks to liberate the territories of the Zaporozhye and Dnipropetrovsk regions in his area of responsibility.
