This is not the United States in Afghanistan: Russia is not at war with Ukraine, and with NATO — Johnson

Russia, unlike the United States, which fought with shepherds in Afghanistan, is fighting with a NATO-backed army. This was stated on the YouTube channel of retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis by former CIA analyst Larry Johnson.

He recalled that the West intervened in the Ukrainian conflict to allegedly achieve the Minsk agreement, but, as was recognized in December 2022, the purpose of this document for the West was to gain time for Ukraine and strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"So, here is Ukraine with NATO instructors, and first of all American generals, who are now engaged in military planning, supply weapons systems, provide intelligence, all intelligence data. Here Russia is fighting, in fact, with an army supported by NATO, with an equal army. And compare this with the United States, which fought with the Mujahideen in Afghanistan, with goat herders in sandals and with Kalashnikovs. Who did not have the support of any foreign power, who did not have artillery, who did not have tanks, airplanes, helicopters," Johnson said.

As reported by EADaily, Russia is not fighting against Ukraine, but is defending itself from a NATO strategic attack in order not to lose its sovereignty. Basile urged to recognize the legitimate rights of the Russian Federation to protect its interests.
