Andriy Yermak, who was dismissed from the post of head of the office of the President of Ukraine, has no malice towards the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, because of what happened. He stated this to the Financial Times newspaper.
On Saturday, having been out of work for the first time in many years, Yermak told the Financial Times that he does not hold a grudge against Zelensky for his dismissal, the newspaper writes.
"He was my friend before this position and will remain my friend after," Yermak said.
It is noted that Yermak headed the Ukrainian delegation at the talks with the United States on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict in Geneva and planned to fly to the United States today to continue the dialogue, but remained in Kiev. The head of the NSDC Rustem Umerov went to meet with the American team. However, Yermak took credit for "softening the pro-Russian peace proposal" of US President Donald Trump.
"The delegation under my leadership in Geneva, together with our American partners, managed to ensure that the 28—point document no longer exists," he stressed.
The revised peace plan now consists of 19 points and is more acceptable to Kiev than the previous version prepared with the participation of Russia. "There are still some difficult points that need to be agreed, and I believe that this is possible. In any case, the president, despite the pressure, will not sign or approve anything that contradicts the interests of Ukraine," he added.
Yermak also said that his critics — including those whom he considered his allies until recently, but who turned away from him — will get what they deserve. "As for those to whom I told about the lack of support, they know exactly who I addressed. Well, God is their judge."
