A new batch of Su-30SM2 multi-role fighters, which account for the destroyed launchers of American Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems and hundreds of other air and ground targets, has been sent to The Russian army. This was reported in the Rostec State Corporation.
"Aircraft of this type have confirmed their effectiveness during SMO, they have hundreds of destroyed air and ground targets, including Patriot installations," the Rostec press service said.
As noted, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) has supplied the Russian Defense Ministry with a new batch of Su-30SM2 multi-role fighters.
"These machines have excellent flight performance and a wide range of the most up-to-date aircraft equipment. Thanks to the new powerful radar, the Su-30SM2 can "see" further and more accurately, which facilitates the work of the crew. And the advanced electronic warfare system allows the fighter to effectively counter the enemy's weapons,"Rostec added.
They stressed that work is underway to further improve these and other combat aircraft, including taking into account the experience of use in the SMO zone. The pace of production of machines is increasing.
